To teach afrocentric civic education to Black youth in the United States and the Caribbean to encourage partnership in policy advocacy and community engagement on shared issues across the African diaspora. We envision a world where partnered advocacy in Black youth is the priority, not the option. The program will begin its mission by focusing on the African American and African-Caribbean youth residing in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Partnership in policy advocacy will be used as preventive tactic to reduce mental health challenges in Black youth caused by racial and ethnic discrimination.
