Z Feeds Go-Go Bags Project

My project is to feed and encourage the hungry and homeless everywhere with “Go-Go Bags” which are gallon sized ziplock bags filled with nonperishable food items, drinks, toiletries and encouraging reading material to offer hope to anyone who receives one of these special bags. I pack them especially for women and children in the homeless shelters and hungry people I see on the streets.

Updates from Z Feeds Go-Go Bags Project

June, 2021
At age of 9, I created Z Feeds Angel Food Project to tackle the issue of hunger especially of homeless women and children and people living on the street. I once lived In the homeless shelter with my grandmother and I remember going throughout the day and having no food to eat. It was a very sad and scary time and I never forgot my time there. I wanted to do something to give back. Through my “Go-Go Bags” project, I have provided thousands of food and toiletry items to women and children staying at the local homeless shelter, and to people living on the streets. It makes me happy to provide them with one of my “Go-Go Bags” which are gallon bags filled with food, drink and toiletry items. Also included in every bag are encouraging words to let people know that life will get better. The “Go-Go Bags” are created with love and kindness and a direct result of what I went through. Having walked in these shoes helped me develop compassion for the hungry and homeless. Being a part of the Call of Kindness will help me to become more compassionate while exhibiting kindness and caring, increase my leadership skills and help strengthen my organization by making connections.
