2016 Family Picnic
On a beautiful June day, we gathered over 300 friends, family, and supporters together in downtown Manhattan for our first Family Picnic, sharing and celebrating everything we have accomplished as a Foundation. This family oriented day was generously sponsored by the Riley’s Way board. Our Riley’s Way Council organized face painting, arts & crafts, and several games including freeze dance and capture the flag (all in the spirit of kindness). The inflatable GaGa pit was by far the biggest attraction of the day, with kids playing all day long. Our wonderful speakers Laura Rebell Gross, Rebecca Urchioli, and Dana Kaplan shared how our programs are impacting the lives of their students, schools, and communities.
